Drawing inspiration from volleyball legend Kerri Walsh, we engineered an Arduino-controlled robot that soared across a 30-foot dolly atop a net, launching volleyballs at 65mph toward participants (mind you that some painful moments did happen, but that’s what waiver forms are, right?). This technological marvel was more than just a machine; it was a bridge connecting the physical excitement of volleyball with a global digital audience. Through a meticulously developed website, people from every corner of the world were given the power to control the Kerri Cannon live, blurring the lines between the event's physical location and the boundless digital realm.
